Advance Training are a registered AITT accredited training center and are one of only 600 organisations within the UK and Ireland offering fully validated, truly accredited training.

The AITT was formed in 1985, and in 1991 became an HSE recognised body deemed competent to accredit organisations supplying industrial truck training services to industry.

Following considerable support from the UK British Industrial Truck Association (BITA) and in consultation with the Confederation of British Industry (CBI), Trade Union Congress (TUC), Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and others involved in the professional training of operators and instructors of industrial trucks, in 1991, The Association of Industrial Truck Trainers (AITT) introduced an accreditation scheme driven by practical training specialists and aimed at improving standards of training and safety in the operation of industrial trucks.
